Overview
DownPour quenching agent is a water-based formulation that rapidly cools dangerous temperatures in service, welding, and manufacturing. Minimize service wait times with DownPour, a cooling application that can reduce dangerous temperatures on hot metal parts with no warping or corrosion.
Add DownPour concentrate to water to create a solution you can depend on to speed service projects and maximize efficiency. DownPour is a great addition to service garages, mobile service trucks, and even metal fabrication. Use in welding, soldering, mechanical repair, and more.
Application
A small addition of DownPour concentrate to a water mix allows for rapid cooling of metal and other surfaces without corrosion or warping. DownPour pressure sprayer offers a multitude of spray types from fine mist to soaking spray.
Hot metals must be soaked for a continual duration to quickly lower the temperature and drop hot metals to a safe, touchable temperature within minutes.
DownPour evaporates with no mess or residue. DownPour is not slick or sticky.
Application Notes
US Class B, European Class B/C Fires
Non-Polar Solvents: Gasoline, Gasoline w/10% Ethanol, Jet A, JP4/5/8, Crude Oil, Diesel, Etc. 3% using 0.16gpm/ft² for 10-20 minutes. Reapply as needed.
